El Caracol is a wonderful base from which to draw and paint to your heart's content. There is an infinite variety of subject matter, from the jagged rocks in the mountains, to the ancient monastery, to small details like old stone walls or a stalk's nest.

It is such a visually impressive and dramatic area, everywhere you look there is inspiration.

The highlight however, is the luminosity of this spot - the colours around seem vibrant, and the sun-rises and sun-sets are truly magical.
