Bedrooms

El Caracol has a substantial accomodation area, with bedrooms branching off from a long corridor decorated with old paintings of monks (there are many links to the Monastery down the road, one of the reasons why the house is so atmospheric).
At full capacity the house sleeps thirteen:
- four double bedrooms, two of which have en suite bathrooms
- one bedroom with charming mezzanine, three single beds - fantastic for children!
- one bedroom with mezzanine, two single beds
During Don Jose Maria’s time, he entertained a number of religious dignitaries at the house and one of the rooms is known by the family as The Bishop's Room.
One of the double bedrooms with en-suite is situated upstairs in what was formerly Don Jose Maria's Study - this was the room where he wrote his books, inspired by the stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
