The Fireplace
This is the arguably the most impressive feature of all, and it is the very heart and soul of the house. The house was designed around it, and it provides the most atmospheric and romantic setting for an evening sitting by a crackling fire drinking some fine vino tinto. Situated at one end of the Lounge area, it is a raised, cave-like recess made wholly of stone... and when the fire is burning within it, it is totally mesmerising.
